2026 Blossom Trail
Blossom Trail Run, 2026
Following a survey of the VBAC, it was found that a majority of club members desired more vehicle runs. Bro Russ answered the call and is striving to have some type of event every month.
For the month of February, Russ had to have consulted with the weather gods. The day he picked for the Blossom Trail Run was absolutely perfect: close to 70 degrees, blue skies, snow capped mountains in the background. A great day for motoring in the valley!
On Feb. 22, twelve LBCs and a solitary Porsche (Dr. Bill explained to Morris that the mini and the MGB had some tech issues) met at Simonian’s for the journey through the orchards of Fresno County. Heading eastbound on CA 180, following Russ and Tammy’s TR-4, were 2 Jaguars, 1 TR-3, 2 TR-6s, 2 MGAs, 1 MGB and 1 Midget. The caravan continued along the outskirts of Sanger, appreciating the blossoms of pink, yellow, purple and white along with the fragrant aroma of the almond orchards. After a shortstop for a photo op, the group continued to Wilkins, a familiar luncheon stop in Selma where the group enjoyed a meal break. After good conversation and lunch, it was time to return homeward bound and await the next outing.
Thanks to Russ and Tam for putting this event together.
Safety fast!
