Pres. Jon picked a beautiful day for a run: 70 degrees and sunny skies, a California classic. Morris was excited about seeing Jon’s Qvales Mini again, but was disappointed to see Jon & Joanie with their domestic vehicle. The Mini required some TLC, thus the Chevy P.U. We were soon joined by Richard (TR-3), Peter (MGB), Bill & Gail (TR-6) and Alan& Victoria (MGB-GT).

After greetings we headed west to the wine grape growing area of western Fresno County. Here Jon had arranged for us to visit 4 wineries. Our first stop was Ziveli Winery. After a little r & r, we continued on to, in succession: Moravia Wines, A. Nonini Winery, and ending at Englemann Cellars.

All too soon, it was time to return home, and with the setting sun in the rearview mirrors, we proceeded east bound with the sound of LBC engines resonating in our ears.
