The Nature Education and Wildlife Rehabilitation Center Connection

Your entry in the British Car Roundup will not only be your ticket to a great weekend of British Car fun but will also help support the construction of the ‘Nature Education and Wildlife Rehabilitation Center’ near Clovis, CA. The Nature Center will provide residents and students from all over the Valley with a unique nature experience within an suburban setting.  We live in an area rich in natural beauty but the travel distance to participate in or observe nature excludes many from these experiences. When this project reaches full development, individuals and families may observe the beauties of this region in a natural state without lengthy travel and large expense.
The members of the Valley British Auto Club sincerely thank you for your support and participation in this year’s Clovis British Car Roundup.

Planned Award Classes for 2012

ALL CLASSES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ‘BEST OF SHOW AWARD’!
Three or more cars of a marque or model must be entered to form a class. Classes are created based on entries received by Thursday (9/27/12) prior to the show. If your car’s marque or model is unable to form a class, it will by default be placed into either the ‘Open: Sports Car Class’ or the ‘Open: Saloon Class’. If there are less than three cars in either of these ‘Open’ classes they will be combined into an ‘Open: British Car Class’. This way everyone has a chance for an award. The ‘Winner’s Circle’ class is made up of the First Place Class winners from any class at the Clovis British Car Roundup in the past two years and must be entered in the Winner’s Circle Class. All classes are eligible for the Best of Show Award.

Saturday Sep. 29 – Run Day

9:00 AM – Meet in front of the Clovis Cole Hotel for a group tour through the Sierra Foothills.
Noon – Catered lunch will be available at the end of the foothills tour. (Please RSVP on entry form for lunch. Your will pay for your lunch at the location) This is a 100% benefit for the Clovis Valley Nature & Education Center so please join us this year for a fantastic lunch and short program about this fantastic center.
7:00 PM -  Meetup with old and new friends for dinner at a local restaurant. NO host dinner at the Yosemite Falls Restaurant 1455 Shaw Avenue Clovis, phone 559-324-8456.  Please RSVP on your entry form. (Separate checks will be available for your dinner at the restaurant).

Sunday Sep. 30 – Show Day

9 – 10 AM – All British cars enter at 7th St. and Clovis Ave. Entries will be parked in assigned areas by marque and model as room permits.
10 – 2 PM –  British car viewing and treasure hunting at the Clovis Antique and Collectables Fair. Please turn in your Participants Choice ballots by 1PM. We will also be doing the Oil Spot Contest judging.
2 – 3 PM – Award Presentations – Trophies for 1st & 2nd Place Class winners and Best of Show.
3 PM – Close of Show for 2012.

The Clovis British Car Roundup is held once a year on the last weekend in September. This is your once a year chance to see British cars from around the state! See British cars from England like Triumph, MG, Jaguar, Healey, Range Rover, Austin, Morris, Sunbeam, Riley, Lotus and Mini Cooper. This British car show is held in conjunction with the annual Clovis Antique and Collectibles Fair so with this British Car show there is plenty to see and do!  Restaurants, coffee houses, live music and tons of antiques and collectibles will be available for your entertainment with this one of a kind British car show in downtown Old Town Clovis California. You will see a great assortment of old, not so old and classic British cars.This British Car Show is destined to become a favorite of British car owners throughout the state for its ambiance and LOTS of stuff to do. This is one British car show that participants will return to year after year!
All British Car owners are invited to enter the 10th Annual (2003-2012) Clovis British Car Roundup celebrating the British car hobby in the Central San Joaquin Valley. Join us on Saturday for a tour of the Sierra foothills on Saturday morning and on Sunday take in the only display of British cars in the Central Valley between San Diego and Sacramento! September weather is always great in Old Town Clovis!
