Upcoming Tulare Parade – November 6th

November 6th is the date of the Veterans Day Parade in Tulare.  We have had a few cars from our club participate the last couple of years.  Well, they have invited us back!  We had eight British cars last year so let’s get a few more this year.  Please contact me ASAP so I can give them a head (car) count.  We often have been to carry Veterans, mothers of Veterans as well as the parade Grand Marshall. They love our cars so come join me for a great cause. The streets are wide enough that we even do circles up and down the route.

Showing Off

A few members of our car club met up and attended a local car show (Tulare). I often attend car shows that are not British, and sent out an invitation to have some fellow British cars join me. We had 2 Jags, a Triumph, an Alvis, and my MGB. We were a rare site to most people.  Lot’s of , “I had one of these”, “my friend had one of these”…but my favorite was “These look better than they did new”.
I love car shows, I like driving to them, getting a nice place to park, B S ing with fellow car nuts, & checking out all the different cars. If you are interested in coming along let me know. Thanks to those who joined me last time. And don’t be afraid to put your car in, we need to promote our hobby before it dies like some rusted dejected British car….
